Creator Prospect (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a website at https://www.creatorprospect.com and a free Chrome extension called YouTube Email Finder (the “Extension”). This Privacy Policy describes our practices for information we collect when you visit the website or use the Extension.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Extension and related services, we may collect:

• Chrome account identifier when available through Chrome identity APIs
• Chrome account email when permission is granted or otherwise available
• Generated installation identifier as a fallback when a Chrome account identifier is not available
• Search queries you enter in the Extension
• Search filter metadata (for example subscriber ranges, view thresholds, activity windows, and similar filter settings)
• Requested result count for a search
• Usage information such as number of searches performed
• Export events, including when an export occurs and the number of creators exported
• Timestamps / last activity related to Extension usage

We intentionally do not need to store complete exported CSV files or every creator result solely for analytics purposes.

On the website, we may also collect standard technical information that web servers and browsers typically provide (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) if analytics or hosting tools are enabled.

Why We Collect Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Extension and website
• Understand product usage and feature performance
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations where applicable

How We Use Information

Usage and account-related identifiers help us associate Extension activity with an installation or user where needed for product functionality and analytics. Search and filter metadata help us understand how the product is used so we can improve relevance, reliability, and performance. Export counts help us understand engagement with core features.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use information received from Google APIs to serve personalized advertising.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and Security

We store information using service providers and infrastructure appropriate for operating a web application and Chrome extension backend. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in limited circumstances, such as:

• With service providers who help us host, operate, or analyze the product, under obligations to protect the information
• If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• To protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Creator Prospect, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards

We do not share Extension user data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the product, understand usage, maintain security, and meet legal or operational requirements. Retention periods may vary by data type. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete or de-identify it.

Your Choices

• You can uninstall the Extension at any time through Chrome’s extension settings.
• You can contact us to ask questions about the information we hold or to request deletion where applicable.
• Browser and OS settings may also allow you to manage cookies, permissions, and similar controls for the website.

Children’s Privacy

The Extension and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-Party Platforms

Creator Prospect interacts with publicly available information related to YouTube creators. YouTube and Google are independent third parties with their own terms and privacy policies. Creator Prospect is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the website or Extension after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
